The pressure, volume, amount of substance, and temperature of a gas are related according to the following equation, known as the universal gas equation
                                                     PV = NRT
The Units are the crucial here
Standard temperature 273 K and pressure 1 atm or 101325 N/m2 and one mole (n = 1) of gas occupies 22.4 L volume. Using this experimental value, we can evaluate the gas constant R
P = n R T / V,   (Boyle's law)
P = (n R / VT   (Charles' law) 
The ideal gas law has four parameters and a constant, R and these can be rearranged to give an expression for each of P, V, n or T
